We live in a divided world and in my experience, the only thing that makes sense to me are the teachings of Jesus. In this I find immense hope and I am constantly making mistakes and constantly learning. The hope that I constantly draw encouragement from is that the Bible is full of examples and stories of how God uses the weak, the unworthy, those of us who feel like we don’t fit in. But I believe we are not meant to fit in. We are called to be unique. We are called to be culture changers, which can be a lonely path when everyone around us is trying to follow or fit into cultural norms.
We are also called to be Light-Bearers. We are in the process of interviewing artists and musicians for a documentary and so far have interviewed around 20 people. Since this pitch was made, we have interviewed people including Brian Welch from Korn and many others.
